Our 2024 WVFMA Mini-Grant Awardees include 14 markets from across West Virginia. We awarded full funding to 11 projects and provided partial awards to three others. These markets showcase the diversity of our state’s agricultural landscape, featuring large, long-established, traditional farmers’ markets, small new markets, mobile markets, and on-farm stands. These on-farm stands offer not only produce but also meats, herbs, and flowers. This program provides financial assistance for key funding priorities, including technology enhancements, marketing initiatives, and capital improvements. The WVFMA Mini-Grant Program is funded by the West Virginia Department of Agriculture.
