Strengthening Farmers Markets Across West Virginia

The West Virginia Farmers Market Association (WVFMA) is a statewide network dedicated to helping farmers markets grow, adapt, and thrive. Since 2007, we’ve partnered with farmers, market managers, and community leaders to build stronger local food systems—providing the tools, training, and support needed to increase access to fresh, locally grown food across the state.

Supporting Markets at Every Stage

At WVFMA, our work goes beyond resources—we focus on long-term impact. Through education, advocacy, and collaborative programs, we help markets overcome challenges, improve operations, and better serve their communities. By strengthening farmers markets, we’re supporting local agriculture, boosting small businesses, and creating healthier, more connected communities throughout West Virginia.
