POULTRY PROCESSING TRAILER RENTALS
Poultry trailers are available for rent. Each trailer comes equip with six processing cones, rotating scalding unit, plucker, stainless steal evisceration table, and a basin for ice/water.
You will need:
- 2″ ball hitch (hauling back and forth)
- Full coverage automobile insurance on the towing vehicle
- Regular sized propane tank (heating the scalder)
- Access to running water
- Access to electricity
- Knives, personal protective equipment, supplies for packing
- A signed rental agreement upon arrival for pick-up.

Rental Cost
Entities who processes poultry outside of the state of West Virginia may not use this equipment to participate in interstate commerce. This equipment may be rented for on-farm use only by producers in compliance with state and federal laws. Consult your state regulatory office overseeing poultry before contacting us about dates for rental equipment availability.
Deposit and rental fee may be paid by mailing a check or online.
MEMBER
$15 / DAY + $45 DEPOSIT*
All farmers, community members, and farmers markets who are up to date on dues for annual membership qualify to rent the poultry trailer at this rate as long as the farm they will be utilizing the poultry trailer is within West Virginia state borders.
NON-MEMBER
$30 / DAY + $45 DEPOSIT*
Anyone who is not qualified to rent at the $15 rate will be charged the $30 rate. Entities who process poultry outside of the state of West Virginia may not use this equipment to participate in interstate commerce.
*Poultry trailer must be sanitized before returning in order to receive deposit fee.
